GRAPHITE SEALING MATERIALS

The graphite foil is mainly used for the production of industrial seals, such as: tapes, sealing sheets, spiral wound gaskets SWG and kammprofile gaskets, graphite rings for high-pressure valves, graphite die-formed rings type GDR or ARMET, gaskets for flange connections, various kinds of formed seals and seals for automotive industry.

Graphite foil is a basic material designed for most seals. The high purity foil GFC99 has excellent mechanical characteristic, is easy to form and it has a high resistance of montage pressure up to 250 N/mm².

TermGraf sealant tapes made of graphite foil plain type GR, also in corrugated option KR, with self-adhesive surface GA and self-adhesive corrugated tapes KA. The tapes are available from 8 up to 50mm of width.

Graphite yarns made in few material options. The GPY yarn with soft carrier is designed to produce dynamic seals. The IGY and HTY yarns are reinforced with metal wire and they are for making static, valve and fitting high-pressure seals.

GTA braided sealing tapes and the GTR tapes made of a metal-graphite composite. The tapes can be supply with a self-adhesive layer option and they are designed for an instant making of static seals in scope up to 600°C.

Gland packing based on 99% purity of expanded graphite in wide scope of sizes from 3 up to 40 mm. Designed for sealing of water impeller pumps, chemicals and petroleum compounds.

Graphite sealing sheets with reinforcing made in three options. The PertoGraf sheet is a metal-graphite composite with tanged acid-proof insert. The AluGraf sheet is made from high density graphite with aluminium sheet insert. The TermGraf is a sheet made of pure graphite reinforced by planar orientation of structure.

Graphite gaskets with different shapes and sizes, with required reinforcement and outer or inner metal border in range dimensions up to 1500 mm. Gaskets can be delivered with certificate 3.1 according to EN 10204 standard.

Die formed rings made of expanded graphite for use in valve bowls or stuffing- boxes in range of high pressure up to 450 bars.
