JOINT SEALANT TAPES

The sealing tapes based on PTFE, graphite, silicone also glass and ceramic fibre enable make an instant seal directly on installation and they are indispensable in case of sudden needs to do replacement of a seal. Because of low forming pressure (m factor) it can be use for most flanges, also made of soft and fragile materials as plastic and glass.

Elastic tapes made of pure virgin PTFE. The tapes are available in round and rectangular profiles with width form 3 up to 90 mm with a self-adhesive layer. This material is easy to use as a seal and it has a wide range of application in chemical, food and pharmaceutical industry and in installations where sanitary certificates are needed.

The MD 900 tape is formed from a special, multi-directional reinforced PTFE, therefore it has a better elastic recovery, greater ability to maintain residual stresses and a greater range of operating pressures.

Basalt tapes BFT 700 with a characteristic brown-golden color are woven from a special high-strength basalt yarn with high thermal resistance.

Corrugated or smooth tapes made of pure graphite (99% grade) with a self-adhesive layer. A standard thickness is 0.8 and 0.5 mm and a width availability: 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 mm. The graphite tape has the full chemical resistance 0-14 pH, high thermal resistance up to 900°C and it can withstands a montage pressure 250 N/mm².

braided tape made of a metal-graphite composite in mesh form. The GTR tape with self-adhesive layer is designed for a static seals in a range of pressure up to 300 bars, and temperature up to 600°C. If there is made correct joint, it can replaced gaskets made of reinforced graphite sheets.

Braided tape made of expanded graphite with width from 10 to 40mm with a self-adhesive layer. The GTA tape is designed for fast installation of static seals in a range of temperature up to 500°C and pressure to 100 bar. This tape is perfect for seals installations with manhole, inspection doors and exhaust gases.

Tapes made of texturised glass yarns. The STC tapes with widths from 10 up to 100 mm and thicknesses in scope from 0.8 up to 6 mm can be made in a few options: silicon coated, with metal foil and as self-adhesive version. Glass tapes have widely applications both as insulation, electrical and as a covering layer against aggressive influence.

Tapes based on ceramic fibre reinforced by quartz fiber or high-nickel alloy wire. The HT ceramic tapes, width thickness 2, 3 and 5 mm are of use to make insulation as well as to seal and to restrain of flow gases in high range of temperatures up 1000°C.

Special tapes for winding of a sealing element for spiral wound gaskets. The SWG tapes are made in a few material options, depending on the purpose of the gasket, they are: graphite foil, ePTFE also mica. Tapes have optimal width and thickness and are packaged on special openwork bobbins, ready for use in winding machines.

The tape is made of flexible mica with a self-adhesive surface. MAST tapes with width in scope from 10 to 40 mm are used for quick static seals up to 900°C. The mica tape can also be used in the form of high-temperature electrical insulation.

Tapes and profiles made of silicone sponge with self-adhesive layer. The silicone profiles are designed for low pressure seals as well as compensation or anti-vibration layers resistant to oxidation, ozone, UV radiation and temperatures up to 250°C.
