Basalt tape BFT 700

Properties

Basalt tapes BFT 700 in a characteristic brown-gold color are woven from special basalt yarn with high strength and thermal resistance up to 700°C. BFT tapes with a width of 50 mm and a thickness ranging from 0.8 to 4 mm can also be made with a metallic layer and in a self-adhesive version.

Basalt tape BFT 700 is used for insulation and protection of covers, heat shields for machines, engines, and all kinds of industrial devices operating at high temperatures.
