TEFAPAK UFP 205 GLAND PACKING

The UFP 205 gland packing is made in the form of homogeneous square profiles made of pure premium PTFE. Unlike most packings, the sections are not woven from separate strands but are extruded into a coherent packing with very good flexibility. Pure expanded white PTFE provides full chemical resistance and a high degree of application hygiene. UFP 205 packing is intended for both sealing glands in pumps, plungers, mixers, as well as static seals in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. This packing is often used in hygienic applications and in contact with food.

POLYAMIDE FITTINGS

Polyamide PA6 is a light material produced by the polymerization of caprolactam, which contains strong amide bonds. Polyamide is also known under the trade name Nylon and is mainly used to produce very high-strength fibers used to produce textile products such as ropes, belts and fabrics. Additionally, due to the excellent mechanical properties of this material, polyamide is used for structural components of machines and devices.
Polyamide is one of the most important engineering materials used in machine construction. This material is used for the production of connectors, gears, pump parts, bearings and slide rails, guides, conveyor rollers, fittings and reinforcements.

TEFAPAK GRS 290 GLAND PACKING

GRS packing is made of a weave of graphitised PTFE foil strands wrapped on an aramid core. The addition of aramid improves mechanical strength while maintaining its excellent sliding properties. This significantly extends the service life of the GRS packing in harsh working conditions and high working pressure.
GRS 290 packing is intended for devices operating in harsh working conditions with little pollution. They can be used for most process media except abrasive media and strong oxidants. This packing is easy to install and use, perfect for valves, centrifugal pumps and mixers.

APY ARAMID YARN

APY yarn for the production of seals consists of a bundle of continuous aramid fibers with a characteristic yellow color. Additionally, to seal the pores and reduce friction, the bundles are optionally impregnated with a PTFE dispersion.
Aramid yarn is intended for the production of gland packing for highly contaminated or abrasive media. The most important features of this material are: abrasion resistance and thermal resistance. Unlike most polymers, aramid does not melt, drip or sustain combustion, and decomposes above 450 °C. These are key factors affecting the reliability of dynamic seals based on aramid fiber.

HTT TWISTED CERAMIC CORDS

HTT ceramic cords are made by twisting instead of braiding, which is why they are less compact but easier to form. HTT cords are produced only in the form of round profiles, with diameters starting from 3 mm.
HTT rods are made exclusively of ceramic wool and reinforcements made of thermally improved glass or quartz fiber, thanks to which they can operate in conditions of strong electric or induction fields at temperatures up to 1000 °C.
The basic type of HTT ceramic cord is twisted from two or three strands without metallic additives. The rope can also be twisted from one strand, this method makes the rope looser and easier to shape.

PEEK PLATES AND RODS

Polieter ether ketone (PEEK) is a unique, high-temperature material with exceptional properties that provide new opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of devices.

PEEK is most often used for the production of components, structural machines, valves, sliding bearings, in particular components subject to high mechanical loads, chemical and thermal influences.
